Jorge Riley- Sacramento County Republican Assembly
Biography

Jorge Riley is committed to the service of his country in any way that he can.

Background

Jorge was born in the town of Riverside, CA in 1978.  He was born into poverty and raised by a single mother.  While he had a family that didn't encourage a prosperous outlook on life, he broke the mold and made a new future for himself.

High School

Jorge was the first in his family to graduate from high school like normal people in a traditional family are supposed to.  He joined the AFJROTC in his freshman year to keep out of trouble and be able to begin his future military career in the Army as an E-3.  This opportunity afforded him the ability to begin flying light aircraft such as piperwarriors and sessinas at the age of 14 years old.  He was allowed to meet President of the United States William Jefferson Clinton when he came to McClellan AFB and gave his speech about how he wouldn't shut down the bases. After the speech the President turned to shake Jorge's hand in which he refused and crossed his arms and stated to the president that after listening to him talk he could not in good consciousness shake his hand even on tv.

U.S. Army
Jorge Riley proudly served in the U.S. Army from the 1995-2003. He is dedicated to service started at the age of 17, requiring parental authorization to join. His patience and determination ensure that every client is treated with high regard.  Beginning his military career with Recon as a scout for the 101st set the standard for his military excellence.  Awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and several Battalion and Brigade Recognitions, he led the way for the rest to follow.

American River College

Jorge began taking Real Estate classes working towards his first AS when he returned to Sacramento from the military.  When he had almost amassed three degrees and three certificates he joined the Student Government to serve his fellow classmates.  In the Fall of 2008, American River College endorsed "Yes on Prop 8" through a Student Government Resolution and he fell under a recall effort that failed.  He beat the recall with his fellow supporters as the dominate dynamic of American River College was in support of the Resolution and Jorge won by the greatest margin.   1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

After Jorge's exhibitions with the student government he was asked to join the County Republican Party as an alternate representative for Supervisial district 3 under the guidance of Bill Cardoza.

Sacramento Republican Assembly

He later joined the SRA as an official member in May 2009.  He believes very strongly in the integrity of this organization as a key element in the Sacramento Grass Roots organizations. SRA is the local chapter for the California Republican Assembly, which is considered the conservative conscience of the California Republican Party.  Jorge currently serves on the executive board as the group secretary.

California State University of Sacramento

Jorge is currently attending CSUS as a junior working to finish his BS in Business with an Accounting concentration.  After he plans to transfer to law school to study international tax law with a minor in constitutional law.

He was then recruited as an affiliate member of the women's group by Karen Klinger.  Jorge is currently organizing to start a women's sorority for the organization to which he can help set up scholarships and interns to support young republican ladies success in business and politics.

This organization is intended to support the success of female republicans in attaining their education and transferring into the workforce.  By taking the problem into our own hands we can ensure a future of strong ladies that set the standard for future generations to follow.  What would our world be like without good ladies who become good wives and mothers?
