"I am a firm Pro-Life supporter.  I understand that women get put into situations they can't always control.  I know that it is part their responsibility and I am not saying that it isn't, but I do know that a major difference for the woman is that a man can walk away and the woman is left with a swell in her tummy, hormonal issues stemming from her body preparing to be pregnant and serious doubts in herself and her situations.  I believe every woman needs a strong support system and that is one reason I really like the Sacramento Republican Women's Federated organization.  They are committed to the idea of women supporting women.  I know that people say oh what about rape?  But the statistics show that its only about 4% of any abortions that come from this incident so are we arguing facts or making excuses.  Bottom line is Abortion is the least respected way to have as birth control, it doesn't end a pregnancy it ends a life.  With all the forms of birth-control in the world why would anyone want to do that to themselves.  With all the feelings women endure and deal with on a regular basis, abortion is like the deficit:  If I don't deal with the emotional toll of it now I will sure pay for it later.  One day most women will have a child and look and think "I would have had a kid 19 months older if I hadn't killed it...<Sigh>."

First of all let's get it straight.. Marriage is when a man and a woman walk into a church and ask the Lord to unite them as one.  It is said many times that the Lord does not condone Homosexuality.  New Testament and Old.  Why is there confusion?  I stood at the steps of the Supreme Court in San Francisco when the Prop 8 results were released and the Homosexuals were chanting "Jesus was a fag, just like me"  There were people there who called themselves christian and there were people there who called themselves Jews and Rabbi's.  When I told them I was a jew and homosexuality was against the Torah, they told me that they were reformed.  What does that mean?  If you don't like the Torah you can just change the words from the Lord does not like to does?  Someone give me a rational answer to this.  And on behalf of a woman why would a woman want to deal with this?  No on Prop 8 turns all marriages into prenuptial agreements.  Isn't that why they created the organization www.ProtectMarriage.com?
